Saturday Update from Uganda

April 14, 2012

Thank you for your  support of our Family Ministry Trip to Uganda. We are sleeping hard each night because the days are exhausting. Today we visited Bethany Village – an orphanage across Lake Victoria. The boat ride was about 30 minutes and the hike up the mountain to see all of the ministry was fun, but exhausting in the heat.

Tomorrow we will all be ministering in one way or another in the two morning services at Pastor Dongo’s church. I will be speaking in the main service and Lesli and the kids will be leading the kids ministries! Should be a great morning to encourage the body of believers who will gather for worship.

We have all grown in our perspective of what God is doing in the world. Pray that God would continue to grow and stretch each of us according to his plan for each of us!

It has been hard to keep you posted via my blog because of intermittent internet connectivity and speeds. So, we have invested most of our energies and resources in updating through Facebook. Go to

Thanks again for your support and encouragement! That means so very much to us!

Great to see you reaching the corners of the world for Jesus. My best to you, your family and your congregation. I enjoyed seeing your pictures on Facebook—I can’t believe how grown up your children are…May God continue to bless all that you do for Him.

    Peace. & Thanks!
