The story of the prodigal son told by Jesus Christ in Luke 15:11-32, sung by Keith Green in his song “The Prodigal Son Suite” and filmed by Dean Bauman.
A 20 year old boy wants to leave his family and home and demands to have his inheritance so that he can go off into the world and live a life for himself. His Father torn and hurt makes a choice to let his son discover who he is and what the world is all about.
Keith Green: A prolific musician and early CGreen was killed in the 80′s in a plane crash. His ministry is continued by his wife Melody at Last Days Ministries.

This is a great illustration for Father’s Day. I am doing a message on “The Prodigal’s Dad” & the drama will surely help get the point across! Surely God gifted Keith Green in such a way that his legacy lives on here even as Keith lives on for eternity. Thanks to Dean Bauman whom God has gifted to use such material in new ways. Thanks to God, Who loves us as the “Prodigal’s Dad” loved his sons & shows us that love in such a real way!
